Hi Joel, Thank you for your query.
Yes, It does affect the overall performance of the battery over time. We recommend charging Nature's Generators for at least 24hrs when the product is first received. Thereafter, if you do not plan on using it, we recommend that you charge it 100% prior to putting it away. Additionally, we highly recommend that you recharge the generator at least once every four months. This will keep the battery active and provide optimum performance when the time comes to use it.
If the battery got depleted, We would suggest you use regular jump cables or purchase our jumper cable to start Nature's Generator.
If you use the regular jump cable, you shall open the top case of Nature’s Generator by removing four bolts on the top and two bolts on the cart with an Allen wrench. And then use the jump cables to connect Nature’s Generator battery and the battery in your car. It is a very similar process to jump-starting a car when the car cannot startup. After it is connected, the LCD display on Nature’s Generator shall light up and you can charge Nature’s Generator by solar panel or wall.
If you use Nature's Generator Proprietary jump cables, you just need to connect the gray Anderson connector to the expansion port on the back of Nature’s Generator and connect the clamps to the car battery. After it is connected, the LCD display on Nature’s Generator shall light up and you can charge Nature’s Generator by solar panel or wall.

Hi John, Thank you for your query. No, the pod does not have an AC input but will charge if daisy-chained to a Generator. If you have further queries, please do not hesitate to contact us via phone, chat or email at support@naturesgenerator.com
-
Hi Ed, Thank you for your query. The pod does not have a controller, the charge is already being regulated by the generator when it's daisy-chained. Regarding the fuse, yes, it does have fuses inside. If you have any follow up questions, please send us an email to support@naturesgenerator.com
-
Hi Pat, Thank you for your query. Sadly, No, the heavy-duty cart is free once you purchase a generator (only) or a whole system. If you have further questions, you may reach us via phone or email at support@naturesgenerator.com

Hi Bruce, thank you for your query. If the pot is rated @ 1000-watts, the Elite generator can run it for approximately 1 hour of continuous run time at most, assuming that we have a full battery and there's nothing else connected to the generator. If you have any additional queries, please let us know via support@naturesgenerator.com
-
Hi JD, Thank you for your query. Regarding your question on how to charge the pod, there are 2 ways. You can charge it via solar panels or when it is daisy-chained into a Nature's generator, since, It will charge while the generator is charging. If you have further queries, kindly send us an email to support@naturesgenerator.com

Hi, thank you for your query. The Nature's generator power pod cannot provide a power output, or power an appliance solely or without a Nature's Generator (Main unit). It's basically a battery pack to extend the maximum battery capacity of your Nature's generator. If you have further queries, you may send us a direct message via support@naturesgenerator.com

Hi Daniel, Thank you for your query.
The typical life span of an SLA battery is 500 to 800 full charge cycles.
Nature's Generator has taken considerable time to review the different battery options. While both provide pros and cons, we ultimately decided to choose the safer and more affordable option, which is sealed-lead acid. Sealed Lead-acid has been around for centuries and is proven and safe. Additionally, there is a significant cost saving and an overall feeling of safety with this proven technology. It also has the ability to infinitely daisy-chain power pods to grow your system which cannot be accomplished by other technologies.
We recommend charging Nature's Generators for at least 24hrs when the product is first received. Thereafter, if you do not plan on using it, we recommend that you charge it to 100% prior to putting it away. Additionally, we highly recommend that you recharge the generator at least once every four months. This will keep the battery active and provide optimum performance when the time comes to use it.
Nature's Generator is designed to replace the battery very easily. All you need to do is remove a few bolts and open the top case and then replace the battery. The battery is easy to be accessed and replaced.

Hi Matt, thank you for your query. Yes, the pod does not have a wind input. This is only available on the Nature's generator, standard or elite. If you have further queries, you may reach us at support@naturesgenerator.com.

Hi Drew, thank you for your query. It's unusual and might be a possible bug on the front control panel. However, if you're charging the main unit (Generator) via AC/Solar/Wind and both pods are charging along, then the system's chained properly. If you have further questions, you may send us a direct query at support@naturesgenerator.com we'll be more than happy to assist you!

Hello Lucius,
Thanks for your inquiry.
Yes, the power pod will also be charged as long as it is connected to the generator.

Hi David, thank you for your query. There's no limit when adding additional power pods into your system, for these can be easily daisy-chained to your existing pods. You can daisy-chain an unlimited number of these to your liking. It is also advisable to add 2 Solar panels per new pod so that you'll have enough charging speed to fully charge your system. The pods will charge can only charge via AC outlets only if these are daisy-chained into the system and the Generator is charging via AC input. The pods can only charge via Solar when disconnected from the system. I hope I was able to satisfy to your questions, if you have more query, please send us a direct message at support@naturesgenerator.com

Hello Ali,
Unfortunately, you are unable to connect 2 generators. You can just add power pods to your generator to prolong the usage and give your generator extended battery capacity. If you are referring to an elite heavy-duty cart, you are unable to remove that on the package it will automatically be included, you may just detach the heavy-duty cart instead. We do have our nature's generator elite gold system, this will includes 1 generator and 2 solar panels on a package. You can click on this link to check all the specs.

Hello Pam,
I strongly suggest purchasing additional solar panels to help your generator and pod get recharge faster, but it will depend on your decision if you will buy or not. If you do not purchase it that will be totally fine, but it will slow the recharge time

Hello-
Unfortunatel you would not be able to, even thought the battery size is the same, the actually expansion connection on the Elite Generator and Elite Power Pod are larger, so the standard Power Pod will not work with the Elite Generator.

Hello-
Thanks for reaching out to us.
An 8000 BTU system would draw about 2400 watts in order to operate, at that rate you would need our Nature's Generator Elite version that has a 3600 watt inverter, where our current one is an 1800 watt inverter.
With that being said, depending how long you are looking to run the AC for would determine how many additional Power Pod Elite you would need and solar panels to recharge. The Nature's Generator Elite alone would only be able to power the AC system for about 30 min or so.
Thanks,
Nature's Generator Support Team -

Please let us know if there is anything else we can assist with.

Our Power Pod Elite will not work with our current Nature's Generator due to the connections on the Elite versions are larger and some cables are thicker. If you have one of our standard Nature's Generator you can still use the standard Power Pod, as the Elite and standard Power Pod have the same battery capacity.
